1. Competition Layers
- Layer 1 (School Level): Competitions within selected schools. Students must meet certain grade requirements determined by each school, and parental consent is required for participation.
- Layer 2 (Invited Participants): Champions from Layer 1 receive three invitations each to bring additional participants.
- Layer 3 (Wider Audience): Open to a broader group, including selected schools, clubs, universities, and those who receive invitations or purchase the SNOXFEDC token.
2. Prizes
- Prize pools for each layer will be announced at a later date.
- Each champion will receive a prize from one of the sponsors, with the sponsor’s logo displayed during the champion’s matches.
3. Competition Format
- Knockout Structure: A single-elimination format where each match determines who advances.
- Round 1: 8-minute matches.
- Rounds 2 and 3: 10-minute matches.
- Final Match: 12 minutes.
- Team Selection: Participants choose a team at the start and must stick with the same team throughout the competition.
- Game Settings: FC 25 Ultimate Team rules and settings will apply.
4. Match Conduct and Fair Play
- Fair Play Monitoring: Specific guidelines on fair play ensure sportsmanship, with penalties for unsporting behavior as applicable.
- Player Code of Conduct: Guidelines include rules on respectful language and behavior to maintain professionalism, especially during live streams.
5. Technical Requirements and Support
- Technical Setup: Recommended internet speeds and device specifications will be provided.
- Support Availability: Technical support contacts will be available, especially for final rounds, to assist with any setup issues.
6. Invitation Code Distribution
- Invitation codes will be distributed to schools by the SNOXFEDC campaign, which will then pass them to eligible students.
7. School Playoffs and Dates
- Specific dates will be scheduled for each school’s knockout playoffs to determine champions in both junior and senior grades.
8. Live Streaming and Audience Participation
- Live Match Feed: Matches will be streamed live, along with a live video of the contenders.
- Audience Participation: Moderated live chat may be available to encourage engagement and school pride.
9. Match Highlights and Recaps
- Highlights from key matches, particularly in final rounds, will be recorded and compiled into recap videos, providing additional visibility for sponsors.
10. Tie-Breaker Rules
- Tie-breaker methods will be defined for matches that end in a draw to ensure clear outcomes in knockout rounds.
11. Online Play through PlayStation Plus
- All matches will be conducted online via PlayStation Plus. If a player lacks access to PlayStation Plus, Sword & Anvil, through the SNOXFEDC campaign, will provide an account for them to use during the match.
