Anvil Overview

Anvil is a second-hand marketplace for the UAE — and the place where the pearls you gather across MercyChain are redeemed. It lives at anvil.snoxfedc.com, and will fold into the Anvil app over time, so your books, purchases, and profile stay in one place.

A second life for things

What passes through Anvil is second-hand: objects that already carry a history, offered again rather than made anew. Every book that changes hands is one less on a shelf collecting dust, and one more reader who got a great book for a fair price. Reading made more affordable, and a small step toward less waste.

It begins with books — the things most gladly passed from one pair of hands to the next — and widens from there:

Not a shopping app in the usual sense

Anvil does not push, rank, or hurry you toward the next thing. It is a quiet home for objects that already exist, given again — and the place where the pearls you have kept find a use.

One self, two surfaces

Anvil shares the same shell you carry in MercyChain. The pearls you gather through R2E sit on the same shelf as the things you choose in Anvil. What you keep in one place, you redeem in the other.
