From Line to Pearl

The highlight

At the end of the page, you choose one line. Not the most famous one. The one that found you, today. That choice is what becomes the pearl. It is the only act inside R2E that carries forward into the rest of the system.

Minting

Inside the app, mint is the moment a pearl is created:

• A serial number is assigned — yours alone
• The line, the date, and the book are recorded
• The new note is placed in your collection

A small private fact about you becomes something you can hold.

Private by default

The lines you keep are not visible to other people. A line you keep is yours. If you give it as a knowledge pearl to someone you trust, the words travel with the pearl. Otherwise they stay where they began.

The pause before the journey

Every new pearl rests in your shell for thirty days before it can move. The words settle before they travel.
